Jackie Marquez: Jackie has been playing the piano for nine years now. She started private piano lessons when she was eight years old. During her lessons she likes to teach and review theory, such as; scales, key signatures, note reading, and chords. Jackie has a really outgoing and enthusiastic personality and makes her lessons fun and enjoyable for her students. Her favorite part about teaching piano is being able to see the progress her students make over time and the joy and pleasure they get out of that! She is open to teach student's at any age; she currently has students from the age of seven and up. Her favorite style of music is new age classical; two of her favorite new age classical pianists and composers are Yiruma and John Schmidt. She is available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday during the day. She charges $72 per month. |
| Kristen Ozman: Kristen has an enthusiastic way of instructing that makes learning both easy and enjoyable. If a concept proves to be challenging for a student, she is willing to go out of her way to string fun, real-life applications throughout her lesson plans, in order to make the piano easy to grasp. Kristen's joy of teaching music all began in 2007, when she decided to teach the children at her church how to accurately tap notes on a keyboard. Now, years later, she can't begin to describe what a blessing it is to be able to teach students to, not only learn, but to enjoy playing the piano. She is available Monday and Friday evenings and she charges $67 per month. |
